The beta

Plateful is still being tested. Things will change, some things will break, and features may be added, changed or removed. Please tell us when something goes wrong, using Send feedback in the More menu. Export your data now and then if you'd be upset to lose it.

Your account

• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
• Don't use Plateful to upload anything illegal or that isn't yours to share, and don't try to get into other people's accounts or overload the service.
• We can suspend an account that does these things.
• You can delete your account at any time from the More menu.

Your stuff

What you put into Plateful (your pantry, recipes, notes and photos) stays yours. You let us store and process it so the app can work for you, as described in the Privacy page. What you share with friends in Plateful can be seen by the people you share it with.

Food, allergies and money

• Allergies: Plateful hides recipes that list an ingredient matching the allergies you set. Recipes and labels can be wrong or incomplete, so always check ingredients yourself before cooking for someone with an allergy.
• Use Soon and dates: dates Plateful fills in are estimates. Use your own judgment and the package before eating something.
• Scans and Quick Add: reading photos and text is done by AI and can get things wrong. That's why you review items before they're saved.
• Budget and prices: totals and estimates are there to help you keep track. They aren't financial advice.
• Recipes from other websites or recipe search belong to their creators. Check cooking times and temperatures yourself.

Pro

The Free plan has no time limit. The Pro trial lasts 14 days, needs no card, and goes back to Free on its own when it ends. Nothing you added is lost when that happens.

No guarantees

Plateful is provided as it is, while it's being tested. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we aren't responsible for losses that come from using it, to the extent the law allows.
